The purpose of the Engineering Solutions stormwater curriculum is to develop a deeper understanding of the serious issues facing our community with stormwater runoff and specific actions we can take to improve the quality of our water. State and federal governments have established strict regulations regarding stormwater management, including funding to employ engineers who specialize in stormwater solutions. Students will
learn what these engineers do and replicate the thinking process they use when they problem solve solutions to polluted stormwater runoff.
