Davy Clark, Program Director
Davy is a graduate of The Evergreen State College, where he received a bachelors of arts with a focus in Environmental Education. His journey in the watershed began in 2011 when he began working where the River meets the Sound, leading environmental education programs for Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge. Since 2022 he has been connecting students with the Nisqually Watershed from Mountain to Sound with the Nisqually River Education Project.
Julia Fregonara, Assistant Director
Originally from West Virginia, Julia Fregonara joined the Nisqually River Foundation following two years as the education coordinator for Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge. Previously, she also served in environmental education roles with the US Fish and Wildlife Service in West Virginia and the Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia.
Adeline Cruise, AmeriCorps Environmental Educator
Adeline grew up in Southeast Alaska, and is passionate about contributing to stewardship efforts in the ecosystems of the Pacific Northwest. She was first inspired to be an environmental educator in childhood from attending field trips in school. During her time at The Evergreen State College, she was introduced to working as an environmental educator through her internship with the Nisqually River Education Project. After graduating from Evergreen with her B.A. in 2026, Adeline now serves as the AmeriCorps member with NREP as an environmental educator. She is deeply committed to fostering excitement and care in stewardship of the Nisqually River.
